Team Discussion
Functionality offered
- Easily set up discussions about tasks with colleagues in Microsoft Teams, directly from Unit4 ERPx.
- Ava automatically archives discussions for future reference.
How to use Team Discussion
Team Discussion is available through the Discuss button which is shown in certain Unit4 ERPx windows.
Archival of team discussions
A team discussion is archived when it has been inactive for seven days. Ava will notify participants two days before a discussion is archived. In order to postpone archival, continue the discussion as normal and Ava will restart the seven-day-inactivity countdown. Team discussions are archived as PDF attachments to the item they were created from and stored in Document archive in ERPx.

Real-Time Help
Functionality offered
- Ava provides contextual guidance and instant answers to questions on ERPx and ERP CR, based on the latest content from the Unit4 Online Help.
How to use Real-Time Help
To use Real-Time Help, users type their questions directly into Ava's chat interface in Microsoft Teams. Ava analyzes the query and returns the most relevant information from the Unit4 Online Help. Ava can answer questions on a wide range of topics, including functionality, concepts, and processes. For example:
- What is payroll confirmation?
- What are value reference rates?
- How do I create a customer transaction in ERPx?
Setup
Real-Time Help is enabled by deafult in the Ava app. No functionality-specific setup is required by customers or admin.
Important information
Message limit: Real-Time Help has a token limit for messages per month per tenant. If a tenant exceeds 42 000 000 tokens in a month (approximately 15000 - 16000 questions), Ava will return a message informing the user, and they cannot submit more questions to Real-Time Help. They can open a ticket with Unit4 Support to request an increase to this limit. Note that this limit applies only to Real-Time Help and does not affect other Ava functionalities.
Sources: Ava's responses include links to the source documentation where applicable.
Accuracy: Although Ava's responses are based on the latest documentation, the responses are AI-generated and are clearly labeled as such. AI-generated content may not always be accurate. Users should always verify critical information before taking action. Users should review Ava's responses carefully and consult official documentation.
