Optimising the sign-in experience

This section explains how Unit4 Cloud Ops optimises the Ava sign-in experience.

Map domains to the organisation ID for email sign-in

An organisation using Ava can map one or more domains to its unique organisation ID in the Unit4 ecosystem. This mapping lets Ava users sign in with their email address instead of selecting their organisation.

Unit4 Cloud Operations maps the domains during Ava configuration. The account manager or implementation consultant provides the required information during onboarding.

Improve sign-in in Microsoft Teams

Connect the customer's Unit4 organisation ID to the customer's Microsoft Teams tenant ID. This mapping identifies the customer's organisation and directs users to the organisation's identity provider without asking them to select their organisation.

Get the customer's Microsoft Teams tenant ID

Get the tenant ID as follows:

  1. Open a team in Microsoft Teams.
  2. Select the ellipsis (…) next to the team name.
  3. Select Get link to team.
  4. Copy the team link and extract the tenantId value from the URL.
