Technical setup overview

Unit4 FP&A setup

Unit4 FP&A does not require specific technical setup for Ava. Activate Ava before you use it with Unit4 FP&A.

Configure the following components to ensure compatibility between Unit4 ERP and Ava.

ℹ️ Note: Unit4 Cloud Services manages the setup for Unit4 ERP installations hosted in the cloud.

Configure the Unit4 ERP installation to operate with Unit4 Identity Services (U4IDS). Complete the required setup in the Unit4 ERP Management Console as described in Unit4 Identity Services setup on Unit4 ERP to use Ava.
Assign each user a unit4_id in the Security tab of the User master file (TAG064) window as described in ERP CR user setup.

Configure Unit4 Message Hub in the Unit4 ERP Management Console to enable notifications as described in Notifications setup.

Configure the required policies and permissions for Team Discussion as described in Team Discussion setup.
